Operating out of 19/49 is pretty straightforward for us. We do exim work, which just means we move stuff back and forth across lines. It isn't always glamorous or exciting like people think. A lot of the time it is just sitting around waiting for a confirmation or a signature. We have a small office space here and it gets a bit cramped when the shipments are moving fast. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the crates, but we just explain we're moving goods. We don't really have a big staff, just a few people who know the routine. We've been at this address for some time. You get used to the sounds of the street and the way the light hits the desk in the afternoon. We try to keep things simple because life is complicated enough already. If a box needs to go out, we make sure it goes. If something arrives, we check it and put it where it belongs. It’s hard work and your back hurts after a long day of checking inventory, but it pays the bills. We don't use any fancy software, just what works for us. A lot of people talk about global markets, but for us, it’s just about getting the job done today and making sure tomorrow is ready. We don't have a logo on the door or anything like that. We just focus on the boxes.
