A K Exims

Nelson Chambers. It’s on N. M. Road, in B-block. A K Exims is located right there. It’s a big building with lots of other businesses, but we’ve got our own corner. Being in Nelson Chambers means there’s always people in the hallways. N. M. Road is a main stretch, so it’s easy for people to find us. We mostly deal with the export-import paperwork. B-block is where we spend our days. The elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so I usually take the stairs if I’m in a hurry. Our office isn't very large, just enough for the desks and the computers. We’ve got some calendars on the wall and a lot of binders. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for us. We don’t have a website that’s updated much, we prefer just doing the work. Sometimes we get coffee from the machine downstairs. It’s not great, but it wakes you up. We’ve been in Nelson Chambers for quite a while now. Most of the other tenants know us. We just keep our heads down and handle the exim business. It’s what we’re used to. No big mission statements here, just getting the containers booked and the invoices sent out on time. On rainy days the lobby gets crowded with people waiting for their rides. We usually just keep working until it clears up. It’s a decent place to be based.
