A. B. Export & Import

Our office is located in Royapuram, right on Hussain Maistry Street. It’s an old part of town, but it works for us. We handle both exporting and importing here at A. B. Export & Import. Being near Kalmandapam makes it easy for us to get to the post and the docks. It’s a busy area, full of noise and people moving things around. We’ve been at No. 34/27 for a good bit of time. The building isn't brand new, but it's sturdy and keeps us dry. We spend most of our mornings dealing with paperwork and talking to suppliers. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just making sure the numbers match and the boxes are where they should be. We have a small team here. We all drink tea together in the afternoons when things slow down a bit. You’ll find us easily if you know the Royapuram post area. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We don't use big words or try to act like a giant corporation. We are just a local business doing what we know how to do. Sometimes shipments get delayed, and we have to spend all day on the phone. That's just how the trade goes. We like being part of the community here and seeing familiar faces every morning as we walk in.
