A. K. M. Impex

You can find A. K. M. Impex over on Thayar Sahib Street, right inside the Alpha Auto Arcade. Being near Mount Road means there is always traffic and something going on outside our windows. We are at No. 52/14. It’s a compact office, but we fit everyone in without too much trouble. We do a lot of import and export work from this little corner. It’s a bit of a maze in the arcade sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't get lost anymore. We deal with various goods, mostly just moving things from point A to point B. It’s a lot of logistics and talking to customs officers. We don't have any big corporate values or anything like that. We just want to get the work finished so we can go home to our families at night. Some days are stressful when a container is stuck, but we figure it out eventually. The staff here is small and we’ve worked together for years. We share a few laughs and a lot of work. The neighborhood is full of shops and other small businesses, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack or tea. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent business in the heart of the city. We keep it real and keep it moving.
