A J Export & Import

You can find us at 18/75 on the ground floor, which is right near the Duraisamy Subway in West Mambalam. Being so close to the subway means we hear the trains rumbling by pretty often. Brindavan Street is a busy little area, and our office at A J Export & Import is right in the middle of all that activity. We’ve got a simple setup on the ground floor, which makes it easy to bring in small deliveries without having to use an elevator. The space is a bit tight, especially with all the files and product samples we keep on hand. West Mambalam has a very local, neighborhood feel, and we know most of the shopkeepers nearby. We spend our mornings dealing with the morning rush of emails and the occasional visitor who gets lost looking for the subway. It's not a high-tech office, just some old desks and a few fans to keep the air moving. We handle both exports and imports, so there is always a different kind of problem to solve every day. Sometimes it's a customs issue, and other times it's just a late truck. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just try to stay on top of the paperwork and make sure the goods are moving. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by fast.
