Royal Coffee

People often ask how we ended up in Mahalaxmi Nagar, but it just sort of happened that way. Royal Coffee has been sitting here in Selaiyur for quite some time now. It is not a huge shop with bright lights or anything impressive. It is more of a workspace where we get things done. You can smell the beans from the street sometimes, especially when the wind is blowing the right way. We spend a lot of our time just moving crates and checking the equipment. It is hard work and my hands are usually a bit dirty by noon. We do not really do the whole social media thing. We just show up, do the roasting, and talk to the regulars who come by. Selaiyur is a decent place to be based. It has got a good feel to it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. We are not trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the coffee is handled properly before it leaves our doors. It is a small crew here, just a few of us who know the routine. We do not have any big speeches to give. If you are looking for us, we are the ones near the corner in Mahalaxmi Nagar. We will be there tomorrow morning just like today.
