Rotoauto Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd is located out at 65 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s pretty much all workshops and factories around here. It gets loud and dusty during the day. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a while. It’s a decent sized space, enough to fit what we need to get the engineering work through. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know the routine. We aren't really the type to sit in air-conditioned offices all day; most of us are out on the floor. The Sidco area is always humming with activity. Sometimes getting trucks in and out of the estate is a bit of a headache with the narrow lanes, but we manage it. We don't spend much time on fancy signs or anything. We just make sure the gates are open on time and the machines are running. It’s straightforward work. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the schedules. There’s always something that needs fixing or a project that’s running a bit behind, but that’s just how engineering goes. We like being in Ambattur because everyone else around here is doing the same kind of hard work. It feels right for what we do. It’s a bit greasy and noisy, but it’s home.
