Rotex Transmission

If you ever find yourself over in Mogappair East, you might see our place at No. 6/3 on 57th Street. Rotex Transmission has been operating out of S.M. Narayan Nagar for a good number of years now. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet on the weekends but it gets pretty busy on weekdays when the deliveries come in and out. We deal with transmission parts and all sorts of machinery stuff. The shop floor is usually where the real work happens, and it's where you'll find most of us during the day. It’s definitely not the kind of place where you’ll find people walking around in suits. Most of us are just wearing regular work clothes because things can get a bit dusty or greasy depending on what’s being moved around that day. We have a small office section too, but it’s mostly for keeping the books straight and answering the phone. People know us in this part of town as the place on 57th Street that handles the technical side of things. We don't really do any big advertising or marketing; most people just know we’re here by word of mouth. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space for what we do every day. Sometimes the street gets a bit blocked up with trucks, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the parts are ready when they need to be. It’s a very straightforward way to run a business.
