Our place is located at Plot No.113 in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. It’s a big area and there’s always something moving around here. Being in a place like this means there’s constant noise from the neighbors and trucks coming and going. Ross Controls India Pvt.Ltd. has been here for some time. We handle a lot of technical stuff, mostly dealing with how machines are controlled. It’s not something everyone understands right away, but it’s important for the factories nearby. The office isn't anything special. We have desks, some shelves for parts, and the usual gear you’d expect. Most of us have been working in this estate for years, so we know the shortcuts and where to get a decent tea nearby. It’s a lot of checking specs and making sure things fit right. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and looking at drawings. Sometimes the heat in Ambattur gets to be a bit much, but the fans keep the air moving. We’ve had the same sign out front for a long time. It’s a practical workspace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby. We just want to make sure when someone needs a part or a fix, we have it ready on the shelf. The days go by fast when there are a lot of orders to pack. It’s steady work and we stay focused on that.
