Roshan Granites & Marbles

We have been running Roshan Granites & Marbles for quite some time now, right here in Bhuvaneswari Nagar. Our place is at number 5, just opposite Kannan Traders in Velacheri. If you know the area, it is easy to find because of all the stone slabs leaning against the walls. It gets a bit dusty around here with all the cutting and moving things around, but that is just how the business is. We started out small and mostly just dealt with local people looking to fix up their kitchens or put in a new floor. The granite comes in different colors and we try to keep enough stock so people don't have to wait too long. It is a family thing mostly, so you will usually see one of us sitting at the small desk near the front or out back checking the inventory. We spend a lot of our days talking to contractors and homeowners who are usually a bit stressed about their building projects. We just show them what we have and let the stone speak for itself. There isn't much fancy about the shop, it’s mostly just rows of marble and granite. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and try to make sure the delivery truck is ready when it needs to be. It is hard work lifting these heavy pieces, but we are used to it by now. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood.
