We are set up on the 3rd floor of the Ceebros Centre, which is at No 4, A-5, Monteith Road in Egmore. It’s a decent enough spot, though the traffic on Monteith Road can be a real headache during rush hour. Resil Chemicals has been operating out of this building for a while now. We deal with various chemical products, mostly spending our time on the phone or at the computer handling the logistics of it all. It’s not all lab coats and test tubes here; a lot of it is just making sure the right barrels get to the right places on time. The office gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, especially near the filing cabinets. We try to keep a rhythm going. It’s a mix of younger staff and a few of us who have been around since the early days. We don't go in for anything flashy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that. Egmore is a central place to be, so it's convenient for most of the team to get to. We take our breaks when we can and try to keep the mood light even when things get stressful with shipments. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people putting in their hours and going home to their families.
