Redsun Marble Tiles

If you drive down 100 Ft. Road in Arumbakkam, you will see us at number 196, right on J.N. Salai. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is constant traffic noise and horns honking all day long. Our shop is packed with stacks of marble slabs and rows of different tiles. We have them leaning against the walls and piled up on the floor. Moving these things around is a real workout, and we have to be careful not to chip the edges. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of stone dust, which is just part of the job when you deal with natural stone. Customers come in and walk through the narrow aisles, trying to imagine how a certain tile would look in their kitchen or bathroom. We don't have any high-tech displays, just the actual materials for people to touch and see. Sometimes the sun hits the marble slabs just right through the front entrance, and you can see all the patterns clearly. It is just a few of us working here, helping people load their cars or arranging for a small truck to take the heavier orders. Arumbakkam is a good spot for this kind of business because so many people pass by every hour. We stay open pretty late to catch the people heading home from work. It is a simple, honest way to make a living.
