Our place is at No 25 on Nagavalli Amman Koil Street in Vyasarpadi, Chennai. We are right in the Kamaraj Nagar area. It is a busy street with a lot of houses and local shops all crowded together. We have been operating from this location for quite some time now. It’s a small setup, just enough room for the essentials. In Chennai, the heat can be something else, so we always have the fans going full speed to keep everyone cool. Most of the women from the neighborhood know where we are. They stop by while they are out doing their shopping or after dropping the kids at school. It is not a place with a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and we see to you when a chair is free. The walls have a few pictures, and we keep our supplies on simple shelves. It is a very local atmosphere where people chat about their day or the prices at the market. Sometimes the street outside is so loud with bikes and people shouting that we have to speak up to be heard. We don't have any fancy brochures or stuff like that. We just do the basic threading, hair cuts, and other small things people need. It is a humble business, and we are just happy to be part of the community here in Vyasarpadi.
