Rangam Masala

Our place, Rangam Masala, is over in Annanagar East. Specifically, we are at No:107-J and 133-B on 3rd Street in Block E. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here, but once you find Block E, it’s not so bad. We spend our days dealing with spices and the smells can be quite strong in the afternoon heat. Some people might find it overwhelming but for us, it is just what the air smells like every day. The neighborhood in Annanagar East is usually pretty active with folks going to work or heading to the shops. We have been in this spot for a while and we have seen the street change quite a bit over the years. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we get the grinding and packing done. We don't go in for big advertisements or trying to sound like a huge company because we aren't. We are just a local business on 3rd Street trying to stay busy. Sometimes the logistics of getting things in and out of Block E can be a headache because the roads are narrow and crowded with parked bikes, but we manage somehow. We just keep doing what we do with the masala and let the days pass. It is a lot of hard work and long hours but that is how it goes for us.
