Ramu Training Institute

Ramu Training Institute is located at 71 Thiruverkadu Main Road in Ayapakkam. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to work. The building is a simple two-story structure, and we occupy a portion of it. There is a small parking area in the front, but it fills up pretty quickly with scooters. Inside, the rooms are divided into small classrooms. We have whiteboards that have seen better days, with some stains that won't come off no matter how much we scrub. The ceiling fans at number 71 are always spinning during the day to keep the air moving. Ayapakkam can get quite hot, so we usually keep the blinds closed to block out the afternoon sun. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk straight into the training area. It’s a very practical environment. Most of our day is spent explaining things and showing how to use the equipment. We have a small clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when the room is quiet. Around lunchtime, the smell of food from the nearby houses wafts in through the open windows. It's a very local feel here on Thiruverkadu Main Road, and we have gotten to know the shopkeepers nearby quite well over the years.
