Aadi Tex

Down at No. 65 N Park Dugar, right along Mount Poonamallee Road in Ramapuram, you'll find Aadi Tex. It's a busy stretch of road, so there's always the sound of traffic in the background while we're working. We handle a lot of different fabrics here, and the office usually has rolls of cloth leaning against the walls. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. The staff here are mostly locals from around Chennai, and we’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. The building is easy to find if you look for the Dugar sign, but the parking can be a real headache some days. We don’t bother with much marketing or fancy signs, people usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing the trucks out front. Usually, we're just busy checking the weave of a new batch or packing up orders for the next delivery. It gets quite humid in the afternoons, so the fans are always going full blast. We’re just a regular textile outfit trying to keep up with the demand. Most of the day is spent talking to weavers and making sure the colors are coming out right. It's repetitive work, but it's what we know how to do best without making a big fuss about it.
