Fabric Exports

You can find Fabric Exports over at 58 Coralmerchant Street in Mannady. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in the streets. Our building has been through a lot, but it’s sturdy. We spend our time dealing with export orders. Most of the work involves a lot of paperwork and making sure the containers are packed correctly. The street outside is always full of people and carts. It can be quite a challenge to get everything loaded during the peak hours. Inside, it’s a bit cooler. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with various textiles. We don’t really have a receptionist. If the bell rings, one of us just goes to the door. We deal with many different types of cloth, and we've learned how to tell the quality just by touch over the years. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even though we handle large volumes. We drink a lot of coffee while going over the shipping manifests. There’s no polished corporate language used in these rooms. We just talk plain and get to the point. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, so we spend Saturdays tidying up. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the dust and the constant noise from the street. We’ve been here for years and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hands. We just focus on keeping the shipments moving.
