Rajan Tiles & Marbles

Our shop, Rajan Tiles & Marbles, is right on Poonamallae High Road in Koyambedu. We’re at New No 32, which is just next to Lanson Motors and across from the Rohini Theater. Being on such a main road means it is always noisy and there’s constant traffic. It’s a good spot though, because everyone knows where the theater is. We have stacks of tiles and marble slabs everywhere, even out near the front. The shop is a bit old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy moving stone to worry about that. Customers come in all day, usually looking for something specific for their kitchen or bathroom. We have different patterns and colors, but nothing too crazy. We don't have any polished sales pitches. If you like a tile, we tell you how much we have in the back. Sometimes we run out of a certain type and have to wait for the next truck to arrive from the supplier. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy stuff without breaking it. We’ve been here long enough that we recognize the regulars. It’s a hectic place, especially when the theater has a big crowd, but we like the energy. We just keep the shop open and help people find what they need for their floors.
