Our office is tucked away on 1st Street in Karpagam Avenue, right in the R. A. Puram area. It’s a pretty decent spot to be, at numbers 29 and 30. If you know the neighborhood, you know it has its own rhythm, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. Being an agro company, our schedules are usually tied to what is happening out in the fields, even if we are sitting here in the city. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking ledgers. There is usually a pot of tea going somewhere and the sound of someone typing or filing away papers. We have been at this address for a bit now, and the neighbors mostly know us by sight. The street gets a little crowded with parked bikes sometimes, but that is just how it is around here. We handle the business side of agriculture, which means a lot of coordination and making sure the logistics don’t fall apart. It is not always easy, especially when the weather isn’t cooperating with the crops, but we manage. Most of the staff live nearby, so we have that local feel in the office. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we can sit down and focus on the daily requirements of the farming trade. We like the quiet of 1st Street compared to the main roads where everything is just a bit too loud.
