We are based over at 9, T N P, Nagar, right in the Avvai Nagar area. The workshop is usually full of the sound of metal being cut or welded. It is a loud place, and you have to yell sometimes to be heard over the noise of the machines. We do a lot of custom fabrication and simple repair work. There is always iron scraps and metal shavings on the ground that we sweep up at the end of the day. I spend most of my time wearing heavy boots and an apron. It is not the kind of place where you want to wear nice clothes because they will just get ruined. We take on all sorts of engineering tasks, from small brackets to larger frames for buildings. People bring in their rough sketches or just describe what they need with their hands. I have been doing this for a long time, so I can usually figure out how to build it. Avvai Nagar is a decent spot for a workshop like ours. We get a mix of walk-in customers and regular business from other local firms. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains really hard, but we just move the machines out of the way. It is a real working shop, not some polished showroom. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have three different projects going at once. We just work through the mess. I like the feeling of finishing a piece and seeing it fit perfectly.
