Production Supervisor Syrma Tech

I work as the production supervisor for Syrma Tech at 9/22 M. E. S. Cross Street. We are located in Kadaperi, which is in the Tambaram area of Chennai. It’s a busy neighborhood and very close to the main transport links. My day is spent on the floor watching over the production process. We do a lot of technical work here, so I have to be careful that nobody makes a mistake. It’s a lot of responsibility but I’ve been doing this for a long time. I grew up in Chennai and I’m used to the fast pace and the heat. The building we are in is just a regular structure on a regular street. There are no big signs or glass walls like you see in the city center. We are just a group of people working hard to get the orders out on time. I spend a lot of time talking to the workers and making sure everyone is on the same page. Sometimes the machines act up or the materials don't arrive when they should, and then it’s my job to fix the mess. I don't use any fancy management theories. I just talk to people and try to be fair. Most of the staff live nearby in Tambaram too, so we are like a small community. After work, we sometimes grab a coffee before heading home. It's just a normal job in a normal part of town.
