Prodigy Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is located at 44-A in the North Phase of the Thiruvika Industrial Estate in Ekkaduthangal. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and workshops. The area is quite famous for its manufacturing history, and you can feel that when you walk around. Our building is a practical space designed for handling electronic components and assemblies. It is not a cleanroom you would see in a movie, but we try to keep the workbenches as tidy as possible. There is always the smell of solder in the air and the faint hum of testing equipment. The North Phase can get quite crowded with delivery vans and workers during shift changes. We usually have the windows shut to keep the dust out, but you can still hear the traffic from the main road. The team here is mostly focused on the technical side of things. We aren't big on marketing or sales pitches; we just look at the circuits and the boards and try to get the orders right. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often brought from home and eaten at the desks. We have been in Ekkaduthangal long enough to know the local shops and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon.
