Raslee Granite

Raslee Granite is situated at No. 156 on the Bye Pass Road in Poonamallee. Being right on the bypass means we see a lot of heavy traffic and big transport trucks all day long. It is a very convenient spot for us because it makes getting the granite in and out much easier than if we were in the middle of a narrow city street. The yard is usually full of slabs leaning against the metal frames. We spend most of our time out there, checking the stock and moving things around with the crane. It’s a dusty place because of the road and the stone itself, so we are always cleaning off the slabs so people can see the real color of the granite. We don't have a big sales team or anyone in a suit. Most of us are just in work clothes, busy with the heavy lifting. The sun can be pretty brutal out here on the bypass, and there isn't much shade in the yard. We just keep a water cooler handy and keep working. People usually find us because they are driving past and see the rows of stone. It’s a simple, honest business. We focus on the stone we have in the yard and getting it loaded onto the trucks that stop by.
