Ponmalligai Hospital

Ponmalligai Hospital is tucked away on Plot No. 35, 2nd Street in the Telephone Colony area of Adambakkam. It is a quiet residential neighborhood, which makes for a peaceful environment for a hospital. We’ve been part of the Adambakkam community for a long time. Our building isn't a skyscraper; it’s a modest structure that fits right into the street. We have a dedicated team of nurses and staff who mostly live nearby. They are the ones who keep the place running day and night. We see a lot of familiar faces, and it’s common for us to treat several generations of the same family. The rooms are simple and functional. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather focus on the medical side of things. Sometimes the parking on 2nd street can be a bit tight, especially during visiting hours, but our neighbors are generally understanding. We try to keep things organized, though hospitals are naturally busy places with lots of moving parts. Our front desk staff can be a bit blunt sometimes when it’s busy, but they mean well and work hard. We are just a local hospital trying to provide decent care to our neighbors in Telephone Colony. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s just us, working every day to help the people who come to us. We stay open late into the evening for those who work during the day.
