Our office is at 1 Krishnasamy Street, just off North Usman Road in T. Nagar. If you know T. Nagar, you know it’s always crowded. Finding a parking spot near our place is a bit of a challenge most days. We started Pestec because there was a clear need for it around here. Pests are just a part of life in the city, especially with all the shops and restaurants. We have a small crew. They’re out in the field most of the day with their gear. The office is where we take the calls and schedule the visits. It’s a bit cramped with all the equipment and supplies, but we make it work. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s more of a functional space. We’ve learned a lot about different bugs over the years. Every house or shop has its own set of problems. We just try to fix them as best as we can. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s necessary. We get a lot of repeat customers who just call us whenever they see something crawling. We don’t spend much on flyers. Word gets around when you do a decent job. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we try to stick to the schedule. It’s a small, local operation and we’re happy with that. We just do the work and go home to our families.
