Perfect Stonex

Perfect Stonex is tucked away at 15, Seethammal Extn, 2Nd Cross St. in Teynampet. We deal with stone work, mostly for floors and walls. It’s a heavy job and our yard is usually full of slabs and offcuts. It isn't a clean or quiet business. There is always the sound of something being moved or cut. We have been in Teynampet for a good bit now and the locals know the sound of our shop. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most people just walk in and look at the actual stone we have sitting there. We are just a group of workers who know a thing or two about different types of rock. Sometimes it’s granite, sometimes it’s something else. We just take the orders and try to get the pieces cut right. It’s hard work and your hands get rough, but it feels good to see a finished piece. We aren't salespeople, we just know the material. If a piece has a crack, we show it to you. We don't hide things because that just causes trouble later. The office is small and usually has some stone dust on the chairs. We spend more time out with the materials than sitting behind a desk anyway. It’s just how we do things here at the shop. We like the physical side of the work and getting things done.
