We set up our office at 126, 1-A Race View Towers, which is right on Anna Salai in Guindy. If you know Chennai, you know how hectic Anna Salai can get, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get to work. Race View Towers is a bit of an older building, but it’s got a good view of the racecourse if you look out from the right window. We teach digital marketing here, but it’s not some high-tech flashy studio. It’s just a set of rooms with computers and desks where people sit down to figure out how the internet works for businesses. Most of the people who come here are just looking to pick up a new skill or maybe change their career path. We spend a lot of time talking about websites and social media, but in a very plain, everyday way. There’s no big corporate ladder here, just a small team trying to keep the classes running on time. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a busy spot with lots of tea stalls and small eateries around for when we take a break. We like being in Guindy because it’s easy for most people to reach by train or bus. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to be helpful and get the job done without much fuss.
