Sarin Fashions

We are located at 3 Iyya Pillai Street in Park Town. Our office and work area are up on the third floor. It’s an old part of the city, so the streets are quite cramped and full of shops. We handle different fashion items and accessories. The space is mostly just workstations and storage boxes. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to look at the numbers on the doors. It's a bit of a climb to the third floor, but it keeps us fit I guess. We spend the day sorting through orders and checking the quality of the items. It’s not a glamorous job like people think fashion is. It involves a lot of counting and packing. The room can get a bit stuffy in the summer, so we keep the windows open. You can hear all the street sounds from up here. We have a small kettle for making coffee and we take turns bringing in snacks. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a corporate structure. We just talk to each other and get the work done. Iyya Pillai Street has a lot of history, and we’re just one of the many small businesses making a living here. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We've been at this address for years and know most of the people on this block.
