Parivarthani Granites

We are based at 2 Mgr Salai North in Malaiyambakkam. Parivarthani Granites is basically a big open space where we keep all the stone slabs. Being in Poonamallee, it gets very hot in the summer, and there isn't much shade in the yard except for the small roof where we keep the tools. We use a lot of water for cutting and cleaning the stones, so the ground is often wet and muddy. It’s a physical job and we are usually covered in stone dust by noon. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us and the stones. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks, which is slow work when you have to be careful not to crack the granite. Sometimes the slabs arrive from the quarry with odd patterns or colors we didn't expect, but that's the nature of the material. We just show people what we have available on the ground. It is a very simple way of doing business. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and we work until the light starts to fade. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved and not much time for sitting around. We are just a local yard trying to keep the inventory moving and making sure we have enough space for the next shipment coming in.
