Pandian Coffee

Pandian Coffee is right in the heart of T Nagar on Thygaraya Street. We have two spots, 66/4 and 90/4, which keeps us running back and forth a bit. Being near Pondy Bazaar and Naidu Hall means it is always noisy and packed with people. It’s probably one of the busiest places you could pick, but we’ve been here a long time. The shop is full of the sound of people talking and the smell of fresh grounds. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that. We just have our bags and our equipment ready to go. The morning rush starts early and doesn’t really let up until late. We’ve seen T Nagar change a lot over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the crowds, but we enjoy the energy of Pondy Bazaar. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we take a break and grab a tea from the stall nearby. We handle the beans with care, even if we are moving fast to keep the line from getting too long. It’s not a polished corporate office, it’s a working coffee shop with dust on the shelves and noisy machines. We just do what needs doing every day. People know where to find us if they want their regular blend. We just keep our heads down and serve the customers as they come in.
