Pallava Granite Industries

Alwarpet is a nice area, and we are tucked away on North Street, specifically at No. 10 Sriram Nagar. It’s more of a residential-feeling spot than a big industrial zone. We’ve been here for years. We do granite work, but our setup is smaller and more personal. People walk in from the neighborhood asking about kitchen counters or maybe a small vanity top. We have some samples lying around, some dusty, some clean. It’s a bit cramped in the office area. We usually have the radio playing in the background. My nephew helps out with the books. We don't have a giant warehouse here, just enough to show what we can do. If you need something big, we order it in. It’s a steady pace of work. We know the regular contractors who work in this part of town. Sometimes we sit and have tea with them while discussing a project. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just like to get the measurements right. Cutting stone is a precise job, even if the office looks a bit messy. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit, but we’re still here at the same address. It feels like home to us now. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving along. Sometimes the rain makes the stone slippery, so we have to be careful when moving things. It's just us doing what we know how to do. We don't make a big fuss about things.
