You can find us at No. 18 Manikeswari Road in Chennai. We’ve been running Norton Granits & Spinners Pvt. Ltd. from this location for quite some time now. It’s a bit of an unusual mix, dealing with granite and spinning all under one name, but that’s just how the business evolved over the years. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s usually quite busy with different things going on at once. The Chennai weather can be really humid, so the warehouse can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons. We have a small staff who handles the granite orders and another group that looks after the spinning side of things. It’s a lot to keep track of sometimes. Manikeswari Road isn't the widest street, so we have to be careful when the big lorries come to pick up the stone. We don't have a big marketing department or any of those things. We just talk to the people who come in and try to help them with what they need. Most of our customers are local folks or builders who have known us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Chennai. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the machines are running properly. It’s a lot of hard work and we don’t always get everything perfect, but we try our best every day to keep things moving along.
