New Roxy Watch & Co

We have been running New Roxy Watch & Co for quite some time now over on Purasawalkam High Road. It's right at number one, so we are easy to spot if you are walking through the Periamet area. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic and people going about their day, but we mostly just stay inside and focus on the work at hand. Most days start with us opening the shutters and cleaning off the dust that settles on the glass counters overnight. People come in with all sorts of old watches that stopped working years ago, or maybe they just need a new battery or a strap that isn't falling apart. We don't do anything fancy, just the usual repairs and selling some pieces we keep in the display. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break for a few minutes. It is a small place and we know a lot of the neighbors who pass by every morning. We have seen the road change quite a bit over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. It is a bit cramped when more than two people are inside at once, especially with the workbench taking up most of the back corner. We just try to get the jobs done and hand things back when we said we would. That’s about it for us here in Purasawalkam. We aren't a big chain, just a small local spot.
