Our place, Nestronics India Pvt Ltd, is over at No 24/46 on East Street in Madhavapuram. This is in the Alandur-16 area. It’s a busy little neighborhood with a lot of life on the streets. Our building is tucked in between some others, and you might miss it if you aren’t looking for the number. It’s a solid old building that’s seen a lot of years. We have our office set up on the floor and it’s usually piled with some papers or parts depending on the day. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you. You just walk in and you’ll see us working. The street outside can get quite loud with scooters and people talking, but we’re used to it. It’s part of the charm of being in Alandur. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for coffee and tea. Usually, we take turns making a round for everyone. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We just care about getting the work done right. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time, so we know the ropes and how things should be. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We like being on East Street because everything we need is just a short walk away. It works out well.
