We’ve been over at No. 2, Chavadi Street in Korattur for a good while now. It’s just us doing the work every day. Most of the time, the shop floor is busy and things get a bit dusty, but that’s just how it goes in engineering. We handle various metal parts and repairs for whoever stops by the door. Some days are quieter than others. My hands are usually covered in grease by noon. It's not a fancy place, just a regular workshop near the local landmarks. People in Korattur know where to find us if they need something fixed or turned on the lathe. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is standing by the machines. It gets loud inside when the tools are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes parts take a bit longer to arrive than we’d like. It’s a small operation here. We just focus on the job at hand and keep moving to the next one. If you're passing by Chavadi Street, you'll see the sign. It’s been that way for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the equipment running and making sure the pieces fit together like they should. It is just basic labor, really. Most of us have been here for years.
