Naveen Granite & Tiles

Naveen Granite & Tiles is situated at No. 15, E.B. Office Road in Madurvoyal. We are right opposite to the Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the bank is. The traffic on E.B. Office Road can be a bit much during the rush hours, so getting the delivery trucks in and out takes some timing. Inside the shop, we have stacks of tiles and slabs of granite leaning against the walls. It’s not a big place, but we try to fit as much as we can so people have choices. The air usually smells like stone and wet concrete when we are cleaning things down. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who are just starting to build their homes. They come in with measurements on scraps of paper, and we try to find something that fits. It’s a lot of manual labor, carrying boxes of tiles or moving the heavy granite. Our clothes are usually covered in some kind of dust by the end of the shift. The Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank across the street keeps the area busy, so there are always people walking by our front door. We keep it simple here. No big presentations, just the stone and the tiles sitting there for anyone to see. It’s been our daily routine at No. 15 for a long time, and we just keep at it because people need their floors done. It is honest work and we like being here.
