About Natural Granite – Building & Construction Material in Chennai
We’ve been over here on Bricklin Road in Purasawallam for quite some time now. Dealing with natural granite means a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty. It’s not a quiet job. The slabs come in and we have to move them around carefully so nothing cracks. Most days, you’ll find us out back or in the middle of the shop floor measuring things out. People from around the neighborhood stop in just to see what kind of colors we have in stock. Granite is heavy stuff, and it takes a lot of work to manage it properly. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just a desk with a phone and a bunch of stone samples scattered around. We know most of the guys who do the installations around here. It's funny how you get used to the smell of stone dust and the sound of the cutters. Sometimes the yard gets a bit crowded with all the inventory, but we manage to find what people are looking for. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just stone. You pick a piece you like, and we figure out how to get it to you. My boots are usually covered in grey dust by the end of the shift. That’s just life at 127/6. We like being in this part of Purasawallam because it’s busy and there's always something going on outside our door most days.
