National Granite

We are situated at No 38 on Spurtank Road in the Chetpet area. It is a pretty central location for a business like ours, which is good for deliveries, but the traffic on this road can be a real nightmare in the mornings. At National Granite, we handle quite a few different types of natural stone. Most of our working day is spent moving those heavy slabs around with the crane or cutting them down to the exact size needed for a kitchen or a floor. It is heavy, dusty work, and the water we use to keep the blades cool tends to get everywhere. Our yard isn't huge, so we have to be very careful about how we stack the pieces so they don't fall or get scratched. If you decide to come by, you will likely see us in our old work clothes, probably covered in some grey stone slurry. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights and fancy brochures. What we have is a yard full of real stone that you can touch and look at in the actual daylight. Sometimes a person brings in a tiny piece of tile and tries to match it with a whole granite slab, which can take a long time to get right. We just stay patient and help them look through the various stacks we have. We've been in Chetpet for a long time now. It is a straightforward business where we get the stone in, cut it, and send it out.
