Falcon Tile

Out here on Kuthambakkam Main Road in Chettipedu, things are a bit quieter than in the city center. We’ve got our tile shop set up at number 3/30, and it’s been our base for a good bit. Tiles are what we know. We have stacks of boxes piled up, and we spend a lot of time helping folks figure out how many they need for a room. It’s a practical business. We see a lot of local people from around Chettipedu coming in when they’re fixing up their homes. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place to see the patterns and feel the textures of the ceramic and vitrified pieces. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the road conditions, but we manage. We’ve got a small crew here, and we mostly just handle things as they come. It’s not about having a huge brand or anything; it’s just about having the tiles people need when they’re building. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for customers or when the rain starts pouring down on the main road. It can get a bit slow some afternoons, which gives us time to reorganize the displays. We like the area here because it feels like a community. People know Falcon Tile as the place near the bend in the road. We just keep the doors open and see who stops by. It is just a regular shop on the road.
