Modern Marbles

We are located at No. 389, Arcot Road in Kodambakkam. It’s a well-known spot and we’ve been here quite a while. We mainly deal with marbles. People come in from all over the neighborhood looking for something for their houses. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we store and show the marble slabs. Arcot Road is always crowded, so it’s a lively place to be. We spend our time checking the stock and helping customers who wander in. Marble is a tricky thing because it stains or cracks if you aren't careful. We tell people that. It’s not like we’re trying to sell them a dream, just some stone for their floors or counters. Our staff knows the slabs pretty well. We don't use big words or marketing tricks. We just show the samples and let people decide. Sometimes the delivery truck is late or the rain makes things difficult, but we manage. Being in Kodambakkam means we see a lot of different faces. We like the local feel of the business. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best with what we have. No need for anything more complicated than that. We just want to make sure people get what they saw in the yard. If the stone looks good in their home, then we did our part for the day.
