Meenaktchi Juice Shop

If you ever go to Parry'S Corner in George Town, you will see how crowded it gets. Our place, Meenaktchi Juice Shop, is located at number 26 right in the middle of all that noise. It is a very small shop, but we stay busy from the moment we open. In this part of the city, people are always in a rush and the heat can be very tiring. We spend our whole day peeling different fruits and running the juice mixers. It is a lot of work and you are on your feet for many hours. People come in when they are thirsty and need a break from the traffic outside. We do not have much room for people to sit down, so most customers just drink their juice and move on. We get fresh fruit delivered every morning and we try our best to use it all before the day ends. Sometimes we run out of things like mango or watermelon because they are so popular. We don't have fancy menus with dozens of options. We just make whatever fruit is fresh and available that day. We have been at this location for a long time. The walls are a bit stained and the floor gets wet from the washing, but we are too busy to worry about that. It is a fast-paced life in George Town, but we are used to the rhythm of the corner.
