Bags Smart

Bags Smart is located in Medavakkam, inside the N L C Pearl Apartment at unit C4. It’s a bit different because we’re operating out of an apartment building rather than a storefront on a main road. It can be a little tricky for people to find us the first time since you have to come through the main gate and look for the C block. We keep the place pretty organized, but with all the bags we have, space runs out fast. It’s mostly just us and a couple of laptops and a lot of shipping labels. Medavakkam has grown so much lately, and the traffic outside on the main road can be pretty loud, but once you’re inside the apartment, it’s fairly peaceful. We spend a lot of our day dealing with deliveries and checking our stock levels on the shelves we put up in the spare room. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we have to carry boxes up and down the stairs, which is quite a workout. It’s not a fancy corporate setup by any means, just a practical way for us to run things without too much overhead. We’ve got a nice view of the neighboring buildings from the balcony where we sometimes take our tea breaks. It’s a quiet, steady way to work and it suits us just fine for now.
