Mani Omeaga Granites Pvt. Ltd. is located over at No. 93 in Ellai Amman Colony. We’re on the 1st Cross Street in V. Teynampet. It’s a decent area, though it can get a bit congested when the trucks are moving in and out. Working with granite is a heavy job and it’s definitely not for everyone. Our yard isn’t something you’d see in a magazine. It’s just a practical space where we keep the stone slabs and do the cutting. We spend most of our time outside or under the basic roofing, checking the blocks for any cracks or weird patterns. Every piece of granite is different, so it takes a bit of time to show people what we have in stock. We don’t have a sales team with scripts or anything like that. It’s usually just us in our work clothes, talking to whoever stops by. Sometimes the dust from the stone gets a bit much, but that’s part of the trade. We just keep our heads down and make sure the orders are ready when we said they would be. Teynampet is a good spot for us because people know how to find the colony. We’ve been at this for a long time and we don't feel the need to make things look more polished than they really are. It’s just us, the stone, and the work we do every day.
