If you find yourself on JCN Street, you will see us right at No. 1. Mangalam Hospitals has been sitting on this corner for a good while. It is a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have those glossy brochures or a big marketing team telling people to come here. Mostly, people just know us because we are right here in the neighborhood. The entrance is right off the sidewalk, so it’s easy to step inside. Inside, it feels like any other local hospital. There are hallways that could use a fresh coat of paint and some old wooden desks where we do the registration. We see all kinds of people every day. Some are just here for a quick talk with a doctor, others have to stay for a bit longer. The staff stays busy, moving from one room to another. It gets a bit loud when the shift changes and everyone is talking at once. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice, even if the street noise comes in. It’s a practical setup. We don't make things complicated for the patients. We just tell them where to go and what to do next. It is a lot of routine work, but it matters to the people living around JCN Street. We just show up, do our shifts, and go home, then do it all again the next day. There isn't much more to it than that.
