Wellgo Life Farms is set up at Plot No. 18 on the ground floor in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar. We are right on the Mambakkam Main Road, which is a busy stretch of tarmac. Being on the ground floor is handy because people can just pop in without having to deal with stairs or lifts. We manage our farming operations from here, focusing on the life aspect of what we grow. The office is pretty simple, with some desks and a few chairs for visitors. Because we are on the main road, the sound of motorcycles and buses is pretty much a constant background noise. We’ve got used to it by now. We spend our time coordinating between the different plots of land we manage and the people who work them. There is a lot of scheduling involved and making sure supplies get delivered on time. Bhuvaneshwari Nagar is a growing area, so we’ve seen a lot of changes since we first moved in. Our team is small, and we don't go for corporate titles or big meetings. We just sit down, look at what needs doing for the day, and get to it. Sometimes we have local farmers stopping by to chat or ask for advice on their crops. We try to be helpful and keep things moving. It’s a straightforward business, and we like the fact that we are easy to reach for anyone driving down the Mambakkam road. It's just what we do every day.
