Malvia Marbles & Granites

We are tucked away at number 1 on Otravaadi Street. It’s a bit quieter than the main roads, but we still keep pretty busy with all the marble and granite coming through. Since we’re right at the start of the street, it’s easy for people to find us once they turn off the main path. The shop isn’t anything fancy. It’s mostly just a workspace where we keep our inventory and do some basic cutting when needed. There’s usually water on the floor from the saws and a lot of stone dust in the air. We’ve been doing this for a while and we know our way around a slab of marble. Most people who come here are looking for something specific for their homes. We spend a lot of time moving heavy pieces of stone so they can see the natural patterns in the light. It’s heavy work and our hands are always rough from handling the stone all day. We don’t have a website or any of that modern stuff. People just know we’re here on Otravaadi Street and they come by when they need stone for a project. We just treat everyone fair and try to get the orders ready when we said we would. It’s a small operation, but it’s ours and we take care of it as best we can. Sometimes things get a little behind, but we always finish the job for the neighborhood folks.
