Malar Institute

Malar Institute is located at No 3, on Ellaimuthamman Koil 2nd Street in Vadapalani. We are right in Chennai, and if you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the Sivan Temple. You can often hear the temple bells from our rooms, which is actually quite nice. The street can be quite narrow and busy, especially during festival times, but that is just how Vadapalani is. Our institute is a simple place. We have a couple of rooms where we hold our sessions. It is not a big, modern building with elevators. It’s an older style of construction, very typical for this part of Chennai. We have been here helping students with their studies for quite some time. The walls are covered with old charts and schedules. We don't have a big budget for marketing, so we just rely on people seeing our sign on the street. It’s a very practical setup. We provide a place for students to sit away from the distractions of home. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest when the local schools let out. We stay open until late in the evening to accommodate everyone. It’s just us doing our job in a busy corner of the city, keeping things straightforward and focused on the textbooks and the exams that the students have to pass.
