Mahalakshmi Marbles & Granites

Our place is at Plot No 1, Block No 12 in Arumbakkam. We are right across from the Radha Park Inn Hotel on the 100 Feet Road, also known as J N Salai. It’s a very prominent road in the city, so there is always a lot of movement. We have both marbles and granites in our collection. The yard is quite open, and you can see the stacks from the road. We spend our time managing the stock and helping visitors who are looking for materials for their homes. It is a lot of physical work, especially when we have to move the larger slabs around to show the patterns. We don't go for polished sales talk or anything like that. We just tell you what we have and what it costs. The heat on J N Salai can be intense, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. Being near the hotel helps people find us without much trouble. We've been operating out of this Arumbakkam spot for quite some time. It's a family-run feel even if it's a busy commercial area. We value the fact that people trust us enough to come back. It’s just a normal business day for us, every day. We handle the paperwork and the deliveries ourselves most of the time. It keeps us connected to what’s going on in the shop. We just keep doing things our own way.
