Maha Lakshmi Traders is easy enough to find if you are in Anna Nagar, though people sometimes get mixed up between the old number 6 and the new number 37 on the door. We have been sitting here for quite some time now, just being part of the local market scene. It’s a trading business, so our days are mostly spent on the phone or writing down orders in the ledger books. There are always bags and boxes piled up near the entrance, and the smell of the goods fills the air every time we open a fresh batch. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk, just a couple of chairs for whoever stops by to chat or do business. The traffic in Anna Nagar can be a bit much in the evenings, but we are usually tucked inside finishing up the day's counts by then. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and we’ve known most of our customers for years. They come in, we talk about the weather or the prices, and we get the trade done. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in town, just a place where people can get what they need without any hassle. Every morning we sweep the front step and get ready for whatever the day brings. It’s just a normal shop doing normal work, and that’s how we like to keep it.
