Madras Hospital

Madras Hospital is over in the Mogappair area of Chennai. It’s been sitting here for a good while, serving the people in this part of the city. We’re a general hospital, so we see a bit of everything walk through the doors. Mogappair is a busy residential spot, and we’re right in the middle of it. The hospital isn't one of those massive glass buildings you see in the city center. It’s a more grounded place. We have different departments for various health issues, and our staff is mostly local folks who know the area well. The waiting rooms can get a bit loud on Monday mornings, and sometimes the fans hum a bit too much, but we get the job done. We treat everyone who comes in, whether it’s a small scrape or something that needs a few nights' stay. We have nurses walking the halls and doctors checking their clipboards. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. Cleaning, checking vitals, and talking to patients about how they’re feeling. We don't have any big marketing slogans. We just open the doors every morning and do our best to help whoever shows up. People in Mogappair know they can just walk in if they’re feeling under the weather. It’s a community hospital through and through, focused on the basics of getting people healthy again. We just do our work and go home, just like everyone else in Chennai. We keep a small canteen for families to get a tea while they wait.
